BMW i4 electric auto 2023 Midsize car
As the BMW brand's first all-electric four-door sedan, the BMW i4 is built on the CLAR Pure Electric Platform, equipped with fifth-generation BMW eDrive electric drive technology and advanced digital luxury technology to provide drivers with a novel and unique interactive experience. The BMW i4 features a star curtain grille design with a long wheelbase, short overhangs and a streamlined roof, outlining dynamic and fluid lines and elegantly slender proportions. The body dimensions are 4,785 millimeters long, 1,852 millimeters wide and 1,455 millimeters high, with a wheelbase of 2,856 millimeters. In addition, the BMW i4 M50 is available in an exclusive paintwork in frosted Portimão Blue for a sporty touch.
INTERIOR DESIGN
The BMW i4's interior design is sophisticated and technologically advanced, featuring a new one-piece floating curved screen with an integrated 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 14.9-inch touchscreen display, which is slightly tilted towards the driver for easy maneuverability. Meanwhile, the interior is also equipped with a sport steering wheel and sport seats that provide good support and a sense of envelopment.
Electric Drive Technology
The BMW i4 is equipped with BMW's fifth-generation eDrive electric drive technology with adaptive brake energy recovery. Depending on the model, the maximum power and torque of the BMW i4's electric motor varies. For example, the BMW i4 M50 has a maximum output of up to 400 kW (544 hp) and a peak torque of up to 795 Nm.
Range
The BMW i4 eDrive40 has a range of up to 625 kilometers under the CLTC standard, while the BMW i4 eDrive35 has a reduced range. The actual range will vary depending on driving habits, vehicle configuration, length and condition of battery use, as well as environmental and climatic conditions.
