BMW i3 electric auto 2023 Midsize car
The BMW i3 is a mid-sized electric sedan launched by the BMW Group. The BMW i3 is the first production model under the BMW Group's “i” sub-brand.
BMW i3 adopts the classic design elements of the BMW family, the front face is a closed grille, the center inlaid with dot-matrix arrangement elements, together with the chrome frame, highlighting the fashionable temperament. Angel-eye daytime running lights with matrix headlights improve the vehicle's recognizability and enhance the aesthetics at the same time.
The body lines are smooth and elegant, presenting strong dynamic tension. The rear of the car adopts the “3D relief” design of the taillights, presenting a deep and energetic temperament.
The new car is also equipped with newly-designed aerodynamic wheels and blue badges to emphasize its new energy status.
Interior and Configuration
The interior design of the BMW i3 focuses on the combination of technology and luxury, with an elegant winged center console that broadens the visual experience.
The interior is equipped with an integrated floating curved screen, including a 12.3-inch instrument panel and a 14.9-inch center screen, and the advanced iDrive intelligent driving system is built-in for smooth operation and rich functionality.
Power and Performance
All BMW i3 models are equipped with rear-mounted drive motors, which are categorized into two versions of high and low power.
The low-power version of the motor has a maximum power of 210kW, a maximum torque of 400N·m, a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 6.2 seconds, and a CLTC pure electric range of 526km.
The high-power version of the motor has a maximum power of 250kW, maximum torque of 430N·m, 0-100km/h acceleration time reduced to 5.6 seconds, and CLTC pure electric range of 592km.
The BMW i3 also supports fast charging technology, and the battery pack can be 80% charged within an hour.
