Size and space: Haval II Big Dog measures 4705mm x 1908mm x 1780mm in length, width and height, with a wheelbase of 2810mm, reaching the level of medium-sized SUVs, bringing more generous riding space. There are as many as 35 storage spaces in the car, and the boot volume is 483L, which can be expanded to 1362L with the rear seats flat.
Power and Performance
Engine: Equipped with the 1.5T 4-cylinder high thermal efficiency hybrid engine, which has been awarded the title of ‘Heart of China’ Top Ten Engine, and 2-speed DHT hybrid technology, which together with the electric drive and the battery form a highly efficient energy management system.
Powertrain: The combined maximum power reaches 240kW (278kW for Hi4 version), and the combined maximum torque reaches 530N-m (750N-m for Hi4 version). Supports three power modes: Pure Electricity, Pure Electricity Priority and Intelligent Hybrid.
Pure electric range: the long range version has a NEDC pure electric range of 105km, and the Hi4 version has a good WLTC pure electric range.
Combined range: NEDC combined range exceeds 1,000km (depending on model and configuration), WLTC combined fuel consumption is only 1.83L/100km to 1.85L/100km (depending on model).
Intelligent Technology
Intelligent Cockpit: equipped with the latest generation of coffee OS intelligent cockpit system, supporting 250ms intelligent voice wake-up, to meet the new needs of users' intelligent travelling.
Driver assistance: the high end models are equipped with L2 level intelligent driver assistance system with rich functions such as ACC adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance, etc. The Hi4 version also adds HWA high speed driver assistance and high speed NOH intelligent navigation assisted driving system.
Safety and Comfort
Safety configuration: HWA II Big Dog is designed and developed in accordance with the super five-star standard safety design, the strength of the steel plate in the key parts of the body reaches 2000 MPa, and is equipped with a 540-degree full-scene perception system (360° panoramic image + 180° transparent chassis) + wheel view, which accurately demonstrates the complex road conditions.
Comfort configuration: the front main/passenger seats are equipped with independent ventilation and heating functions, and the rear seat backrests support 27° and 31° adjustment in two gears. The NVH quietness of the whole vehicle is optimised to provide a quiet riding environment.
Off-road performance
Approach/Departure Angle: Approach angle is 24°, departure angle is 30°, longitudinal passing angle is 19°, and minimum ground clearance is 200mm, providing excellent passing performance.
Four-wheel drive system: some models are equipped with an intelligent electronically controlled four-wheel drive system + rear axle electronically controlled mechanical tooth-embedded differential lock + nine all-terrain modes, which, together with professional-grade chassis tuning, provides excellent off-road performance.
