Introduction
BYD seal 07 dmi electric auto Midsize Car 2024
The BYD seal 07 DM-i is a mid-sized plug-in hybrid sedan from BYD Oceanet. Adopting the “Ocean Aesthetics” design concept, it incorporates design elements from oceanX, with a borderless grille and striped light bands on both sides of the front surround. The rear of the car has a spoiler design at the edge of the trunk, a progressive horizontal stripe at the rear bumper diffuser, and the tail lamps have a through design with dot-matrix light sources. The side of the car is equipped with a two-stage waistline and hidden door handles. Its length, width and height are 4980mm, 1890mm and 1495mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2900mm.
Interior
The entire series comes standard with Fluorescent Gray interior, 8.8-inch or 10.25-inch full LCD instrumentation depending on the version, and 12.8-inch or 15.6-inch adaptive floating center control screen, equipped with DiLink50 or DiLink100 in-vehicle system, and a four-spoke steering wheel.
Power performance
BYD's fifth-generation DM hybrid technology is applied, providing two sets of plug-in hybrid power options: 1.5-liter and 1.5T. The 1.5-liter engine has a maximum power of 74 kW, matched with a drive motor with a maximum power of 160 kW, and the battery has two specifications: 10.08 kWh and 17.6 kWh, with a pure electric range of 70 km and 125 km under NEDC conditions, respectively; and the 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 115 kW, matched with a drive motor with a maximum power of 200 kW, and paired with a 17.6 kWh battery pack, with a NEDC capacity of 1.6 kWh, and a NEDC capacity of 1.5T. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 115 kW, matched with a maximum power of 200 kW drive motor and a 17.6 kWh battery pack, giving the car a NEDC range of 125 km under NEDC conditions, and the 1.5T model accelerates from zero in 6.9 seconds.
Energy consumption performance
Under NEDC conditions, the fuel loss is as low as 3.4L/100km, with a combined range of more than 2,000km on a full tank of fuel and full charge.
