Buick VELITE 6 electric auto 2023 Compact Vehicle
Buick VELITE 6, as Buick's first pure electric vehicle in the world, is also the first pure electric vehicle launched by SAIC-GM that is truly for the mass market. It is developed based on the new EV architecture and inherits the design concept of Buick VELITE new energy concept car, and adopts the MAV (Multi-functional Athletic Vehicle) crossover body form, realizing the unity of vehicle posture and space.
The body dimensions of the Buick VELITE 6 are 4650mm in length, 1817mm in width, 1519mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2660mm, which guarantees a stylish look and ensures plenty of space in the cabin.
Powertrain
Buick VELITE 6 is equipped with a high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motor, with a maximum power of 130kW and a maximum torque of 265N-m. Its battery system has undergone 7-weight and 13-type safety tests, with a current precision of 0.5% (10% of the national standard), and its precise electric control and water-cycle temperature management have brought about a solid range performance. The range of CLTC can reach 450km (depending on different versions), and the fastest charging time is 30 minutes from 30% to 80% at room temperature.
Driving modes
Buick VELITE 6 offers three levels of energy recovery intensity, “Light”, “Medium” and “Strong”, as well as “Normal”, “Sport” and “Normal” modes. The Buick Micro Blue 6 offers three driving modes: “Light”, “Medium” and “Strong”, and has three driving modes: “Normal”, “Sport” and “Single Pedal”, which can fully satisfy consumers' personalized driving control needs.
Safety Configurations
Buick VELITE 6 adheres to Buick's stringent safety standards in body structure, electrical safety, and new energy test development and certification. The new car is based on the new energy five-star body structure forward development, adopts the high-performance BFI integrated body structure, and creates an independent high-strength dual-frame protection structure for collision safety. In terms of electrical safety, the new car's battery management system and driving key subsystems are developed in accordance with ASIL-D, the highest functional safety level. In addition, the new car is equipped with multiple airbags and a number of active safety features, such as Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Active Braking/Active Safety (AEB), etc., which provide all-around safety for drivers and passengers.
